What is this fellow standing on? He is standing on a V-Structure. It is part of a stream restoration project on Brett Creek, a tributary to the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River, Idaho. After spring run-off in 2005 it should look like this with a pool to protect native cutthroat. Two Washington clubs and one Idaho club took part in the work.

Getting kids and parents out fishing is the
objective of the Fishing Kids days. It is OK if they use a spinning rod
and bait.
Some will develop a lifetime interest in fishing, maybe even move on
to fly fishing. |
