Way Yin is a former UK Salmon Distance Casting Champion, and has placed third in two International Spey casting championships. Way holds FFF certifications as a Master Certified Casting Instructor and Two-Handed Casting Instructor. He was the first American to qualify as an AAPGAI (Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors) Master certified Casting Instructor in the UK. He is also a Hardy Certified Casting Instructor for single and double handed rods. Way is a Pro Staff consultant with Scott Fly Rods and 3M/Scientific Anglers, and with Topher Browne and Greg Pearson, has recently released a new Instructional DVD called "Spey to Z". He enjoys steelhead fishing in the Pacific Northwest, Permit and Tarpon fishing in the Keys, and Atlantic Salmon fishing in the Kola Peninsula.
