Release wild chinook salmon in the Tilton River

Action: Release wild chinook salmon

Effective Dates: Sept. 12, 2011 until further notice

Species affected: Fall chinook

Location: Tilton River from mouth to West Fork

Reason for action: All hatchery fall chinook being released into the Tilton River are now adipose fin clipped, allowing selective fishing rules to go into effect.

Other information: Daily limit 6. Up to 2 adult chinook may be retained. Release wild coho.
